National home builder recognized as a top 100 innovator for its role in launching and growing the company during the economic downturn
IRVINE, CA — (October 3, 2016) – TRI Pointe Group (NYSE: TPH) announced today that it has been honored with a HIVE 100 Innovators Award by real estate media firm Hanley Wood. As part of Hanley Wood’s premiere event, HIVE 2016, the HIVE 100 awards recognize housing’s most influential innovators in five distinct categories: Design, Demographics, Finance, Business Management, and Products. TRI Pointe Group, and specifically founders Doug Bauer, Tom Mitchell, and Mike Grubbs, was recognized as one of the winners in the Business Management category for its role in creating a new company in a downturn subsequently becoming one of the top builders in the nation.
