About "ROCK THE BLOCK"

Season 1 of HGTV’s hit new home design series “Rock the Block” not only starred the network’s biggest names in the home renovation and design space, but it also showcased four new homes within Tri Pointe Homes Orange County-Los Angeles' Aliento master-planned community in Los Angeles. Using side-by-side identical homes as their canvases, four designers each competed to see who could transform the properties through design-forward looks, complemented by their personal touches.

Known for innovation in new home design and its commitment to continually delight customers with its personalized design styles and options, Tri Pointe Homes Orange County-Los Angeles was thrilled to be the homebuilder of choice for the series.

Hosted by “Property Brothers” star and real estate expert Drew Scott, the series spotlighted Leanne Ford (“Restored by the Fords”), Mina Starsiak Hawk (“Good Bones”), Alison Victoria (“Windy City Rehab”) and Jasmine Roth (“Hidden Potential”). Each designer had just four weeks and a budget of $175,000 to infuse the homes with their distinctive signature styles to ultimately add the most property value to their respective home, with Roth being named winner of Season 1.

From upgraded kitchen cabinetry to luxury tiles and flooring, the designers reimagined their respective homes so that each evokes a unique vision and style. Once Season 1 aired, the homes became famous in their own right to the show’s viewers, and a few lucky fans purchased and are now living in homes featured on the show. Now, when purchasing a new home at any one of Aliento’s four neighborhoods, shoppers who loved the cool design from the hit series can select features inspired by their favorite designer’s kitchen and/or primary bathroom with eight curated “Get the Look Packages.” Inspiration can come from many places, and “Rock the Block” allowed Tri Pointe Homes a platform to showcase examples of innovation, such as LivingSmart®, its commitment to home health from efficiencies to families and the environment.

Being featured on the First Season of HGTV’s popular series not only showcased all that Tri Pointe Homes offers in a fun and entertaining way, it also allowed the builder to continue to deliver personalized and curated options to fit today’s home shoppers’ needs and lifestyles. The show also tapped into one of the homebuilder’s key pillars of offering a premium lifestyle at an attainable price point across several demographics—proving that personalized design is for everyone.
